Sugar Wax

Sugaring (Paste) is an ancient Egyptian hair removal practice. Made from all-natural, food-grade ingredients, sugar wax is hypoallergenic and water-soluble. Depending on the formula, sugar wax can be used cold or lukewarm, with or without a strip. It is excellent for removing hair from large areas and is popular for its easy clean-up.

3 Types of Sugar Based Wax

Sugar Paste

Application: Used at body temperature or slightly warmer, this thick paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and removed in the direction of hair growth. Benefits: Ideal for sensitive skin, it minimizes irritation and reduces the risk of ingrown hairs. Sugar paste is perfect for smaller, more delicate areas like the face, underarms, and bikini line. Usage: Typically applied and removed without strips, using only the hands, making it a more natural and gentle method of hair removal.

Strip Sugar

Application: This gel-like sugar wax is applied in the direction of hair growth and removed with strips in the opposite direction, similar to traditional wax. Benefits: Suitable for all hair types and larger body areas such as legs, arms, and back. Its consistency makes it easy to spread thinly and evenly, allowing for efficient hair removal over extensive areas. Usage: Requires cloth or pellon strips for removal, making it a practical choice for quick and effective waxing sessions.

Cold Wax

Application: Used at room temperature and can be applied directly to the skin. It is versatile and can be used with strips, depending on personal preference. Benefits: Convenient and easy to use, cold wax is great for touch-ups and smaller areas. It is effective for various hair lengths and thicknesses, making it a flexible option for different hair removal needs. Usage: Can be applied with a spatula and removed with strips.

Each type of sugar-based wax offers unique advantages, allowing users to select the best option for their specific skin type, hair texture, and area of application.
